Pathways
Advanced Pathway
The Advanced Pathway is bespoke for students who wish to study A Level and Level 3 Applied General qualifications. These courses enable students to choose subjects that are tailored towards their future careers and support students in investing in developing transferable skills.
All our Advanced Pathway students study a minimum of three subjects over two years. Our Level 3 Applied General qualifications are a combination of exams and coursework, with students able to select a combination of A Level courses.
Students who wish to enter the Advanced Pathway need to gain the minimum entry requirements of a Grade 4 in both English (this grade can come from either English Language or Literature) and Maths. This is in addition to the minimum requirements for each specific course.
The Advanced Pathway supports students to go on to university, higher education or graduate apprenticeships.
Engage Pathway
Our Intermediate Vocational Courses are designed specifically for students who have not yet secured a Grade 4 in English and/or Maths. This one-year course provides essential support in working towards achieving a GCSE Grade 4 or the equivalent Functional Skills qualifications in both subjects. Alongside academic progress, students will gain valuable hands-on experience in a range of vocational subjects, with qualifications available at Levels 1 and 2.
Upon completion, students will be well-prepared to move on to Level 3 courses or transition directly into the workplace, equipped with both the practical skills and academic foundation needed for success in their chosen path.
