A Level Maths Students Inspired by University of Cambridge
Sixth Form A Level Maths students recently enjoyed an inspirational and educational visit to the Centre of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Cambridge.
Our Sixth Formers were given the fantastic opportunity to take part in a Maths problem solving conference, organised by AMSP (Advanced Maths Support Program). Information was provided to students and teachers regarding examination requirements for entrance to university and, they were equipped with problem solving skills that could be beneficial when taking part in future exams.
“The conference really helped to broaden our problem-solving skills, a unique approach on how to start solving a question, as well as how to stay organised with the methods of working out, giving us an opportunity to think logically with reason. This was a great place to understand maths at a deeper integrated level.” Dhruvika.P – Year 12
