State of the Art Esports Room Launched
The Upper Academy has recently opened a dedicated computer room, designed to enhance the gaming and learning experience for our Sixth Form students studying the BTEC Esports qualification.
The brand new gaming suite houses state-of-the-art gaming PCs, specialist gaming chairs and is surrounded with vibrant artwork depicting classic computer games such as Fortnite, Pacman, Tetris, Pokémon and Halo.
The BTEC Level 3 course involves the rapidly growing Esports industry and the careers beyond the qualification. Skills and strategies used as a player and a team, the business and marketing of Esports and games played are all explored alongside the health and wellbeing of Esports professionals.
