International Women's Day

On Friday 8^th March, The Academies supported the International Women's Day campaign by engaging with a range of businesses who promote the need for gender parity.

Students and staff had photographs taken with the #BalanceforBetter promotional statements.

“I think International Women’s Day is very important to all women in the world. Everyone should be treated equally and everyone should be heard and be able to share their opinions. Every person has a right to everything, no matter what gender they are.” Alesha.G - Year 9

“I believe all women and men should be treated the same and have the same opportunities.” Wallis.K - Year 9

“I believe women should be treated fairly no matter what their size or appearance.” Alisha.O - Year 9
