International Women's Day 2024
On Friday 8th March, the Upper Academy celebrated International Women's Day, an event which is linked directly to our Student Value of 'Women's Rights Are Human Rights'.
Students took part in a special International Women’s Day quiz and attended an assembly to celebrate and recognise the achievements and contributions of women throughout history. The assembly included the inspiring journey of the Lionesses, demonstrating what can be achieved when women are included.
