Sixth Form students inspired by Paris
A group of our Sixth Form students studying English, Art and Photography recently spent 4 days in Paris visiting famous landmarks, galleries and soaking up the ambience of the city.
“My visit to Paris was a remarkable experience, which I will never forget. It was a great feeling to see ‘the ‘City of light’ - a modern city with a very deep sense of history.”
“I will never forget when we first drove through, passing the canals and seeing the monuments. It was like a huge open-air museum. I was mesmerised by the beauty of the Louvré, the Musèe d’Orsay, Sacrè-Coeur and especially by the Eiffel Tower. Notre-Dame was the most inspiring with its gothic architecture; every piece of the building had some kind of design and nothing looked plain, everything was filled with passion and ideas.”
“The Boat Cruise along the River Seine really opened my eyes to the landscape of the city as I got to see every angle.”
“I loved everything about this romantic, breath-taking, inspiring city & vowed to never hesitate to come back to experience it again & again. I promised myself that I would learn the language!” Gabriele.K – Year 12, Head Girl
“The opportunity to explore Paris was incredible and unforgettable. Upon arrival, I was immediately mesmerised by the beauty that is Paris, especially the astonishing landmarks. I feel so lucky to have been able to experience this trip, I had the best time. Everywhere was so utterly breath-taking and Paris is a destination everybody needs to experience and become immersed in its everlasting beauty.” Lucy.H - Year 12
