Academies receive Young Carers Silver Award
Both The Upper and Lower Academy have been successful in obtaining the Silver Award for supporting young carers in school.
The Young Carers in Schools Award programme helps schools improve outcomes for young carers and celebrates good practice.
Staff from both sites are actively working towards the Gold accreditation.
