Year 10 Excel in Business & Enterprise Project
During the last 3 weeks of Summer Term, our Year 10 Students participated in a Business and Enterprise Project, which put their entrepreneurial skills to the test!
Students were placed into teams and tasked with creating their own business idea, relating to a phone accessory of their choice. On completion of the project each team each presented their well-rehearsed pitch, detailing their product's main features, it's unique selling point, forecasted sales, expenses and methods of marketing.
The pitches were judged by our very own panel. Headteacher & Head Judge of the panel, Mr Smith, picked the top 3 winners who were awarded with a prize.
“All student’s demonstrated high levels of creativity and business acumen, all pitches submitted by students were fantastic!” Mr Smith
“Completing this project helped me to gain a basic understanding of business before I studied studying it as a qualification. I built on both my public speaking and presenting skills” Zofia.C - Year 10, a member of the winning team ‘Press & Print’.
